“I love the shaken style twist on your traditional pho at Sup Noodle Bar. It is shaken with garlic, sliced onions, and wok-seared with bone marrow oil. I’m not generally a big fan of Pho, but this type of broth is delicious. It has a lot of savory flavors. I also added the sous-vide slow poached egg for a creamier texture. I was wary of having to cut the meat off the bones, but the meat was so tender that it fell right off the bones. The truffle fries and garlic chicken wings was also yummy, but my favorite dish is the garlic noodles and grilled prawns. ”

“This is one of my favorite sushi places!! If it’s your first time here, I would recommend Omakase “Chef’s choice,” which gives you 12 pieces of fish of the Chef’s choosing. Otherwise, order off menu....everything is so delicious. The Otoro (fatty Tuna) and Foie Gras (fatty duck liver) is one of my favorite melts in your mouth dish! This place has a long wait, so I would recommend making reservations in advance. They only take reservations from 5-5:30pm and it can only be reserved one week out.”

“I’ve eaten at a lot of ramen places, but this is still only one of the few places that makes delicious spicy miso broth ramen! I love all the different topping, bowl sizes, and types of noodles this place has to offer. This place does not disappoint. ”

“My favorite items are the fried oyster and the lobster tacos. I feel a lot of places are stingy with their lobster serving, but this place is very generous. I’ve been here about 4 times and I order the lobster tacos every time! I also like the dark and romantic ambiance of this restaurant. ”

“I found this Japanese restaurant on a whim, but the sushi turned out delicious. Try the Nigiri Chef’s course that comes with 3 appetizers (salad, miso soup, soy beans), 10 pieces of sushi, and homemade matcha chocolate dessert. The restaurant is located next to the Rancho Santa Margarita lake. ”

“This is a nice brunch spot to check out, as they have the typical breakfast omelettes and benedicts, but they also have your Bloody Mary’s and Sangria’s for those relaxing and fun afternoons. My favorite dish is the eggs Benedict Hawaiian style roasted Kalua pork.”

“Try the champagne brunch with all you can eat & drink champagne on Sunday! There is a huge selection of food and desserts. The restaurant has a rustic look and sits on top of a hill, which has a beautiful view overlooking Orange County. ”

“This is a better version of a brewery. They have a long list of beers from red ales, pale ales, sours and more....if you can’t make up your mind, I would recommend the flight. I also love that they have options of food when you get the munchies from the alcohol. The outdoor patio area is also nice on a warm night.”

“This is one of my favorite cafes in Orange County that I just discovered. There is a lot of room inside and outside for groups to study or hang out. I wish there was a place like this when I was in college. The outdoor area have heated lamps for those cold winter nights (hah, I already know I am getting snickers from people in the east coast when I say California is cold). Try the lavender matcha!”

“I really enjoyed all of their drinks. There isn’t a lot of seating, but there are a few tables outside. Try the iced and hot lavender latte! *The establishment has now remodeled and is called Enchanted Coffee Bar* ”
